Etna

the desert
Bove Valley
two slow lava’s flows are going down
from the
South-East
Crater
at an altitude of 2900 metres. The
lava is already at 2500 meter at a sefety distance from any
tourist or inhabited areas. The screaming and bleeding Etna:
frequently strong roars, one every 10 seconds, are
characterizing the Strombolian activity on the east side of
the south-east crater. From the new mouth is coming out lots
of gas at high pressure and temperature.
The Eruption of the Etna is
visible to the naked eye during the night from the jonic
coast and we suggest to reach the bove Valley from
Sapienza Refuge.

The Tourist eruption of
the Etna continues
New eruptions
have begun at Etna Volcano and regular explosions occurred every
5-10 seconds. The eruption sent chunks of lava from a fracture
in the mountain into the air and the flow is not near any of the
residents surrounding the volcano and was not posing any threat.
There are many tourists who attract one of the most beautiful
and spectacular of the nature.
